Hello to everyone! For this is a new day, a new week and a new month! Oh, how great it is to be here with you this week because this is the day the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Hey, Parents and Guardians, just a friendly reminder that Fall Break begins Monday, Oct. 12 and ends Friday, Oct. 16, for Chester County schools. Please take a moment to plan for that week so you and your children can enjoy the time off from school.
A special note to the parents or guardians – during the break, please remind your children how much you love and appreciate them. They grow up so fast; enjoy them while you still can. A BIG thank you to our teachers. Please make time to relax. Put your feet up and enjoy the week as well. You have truly earned it. When our children were in school, we always looked forward to spending time together during breaks. Now that they are grown, we still enjoy time as a family; these moments matter.
Pastor Appreciation Day is Sunday, Oct. 11! This celebration happens in October, which also happens to be Pastor Appreciation Month. The celebration of this day began with the idea to celebrate the contributions of Priests, Ministers, Reverends and Pastors to the country, especially in the United States. So, on Sunday, do something nice for your Pastor. You have time to let him/her know how much you appreciate them.
The Greater Evangelical Ministries, Inc., 1609 Airport Road, Selmer, will celebrate a 27th Appreciation Service for their Pastor Apostle Frank Holiday, Sr. at 3 p.m. Oct. 18. Family and friends are invited. Please come out; for more information, call Minister Kendall at 731-610-9534.
Happy 36th Wedding Anniversary to Pastor Marles and Sylvia Flowers. They will celebrate on Oct. 10! The 36th wedding anniversary is a celebration of the enduring love and commitment that a couple has shared for over three decades. It is a testament to the strength of their relationship and the deep bond they have formed over the years. As I always say, “Keep the honey in the moon!” We are praying that you all will have many more years together!
Happy Birthday to Brenda DePriest, Deanna Getting and Kristen Cobb, 10/4; Carolyn Dancy, 10/5; Donna Moody and Jadesen Moody, 10/10; Melissa Hunt, 10/12; and Shanna Foster, 10/14. We pray the Lord will bless you with many more! If you know them, give them a Happy Birthday shoutout!
To Apostle Frank Holiday, Sr. and family, our condolences go out to you for the loss of your son. We are praying that the Lord will give the family strength. Remember that you are not alone. Our condolences go to the family of Mrs. Martha Robertson. This lady was such a kind and sweet person! She will be missed but never forgotten! We are praying for the families.
On the prayer list this week: Stephanie Ballard, Apostle Holiday and family, Tapeka Wilson, Cooper Arnold, Paula Thomas and Helen Armstrong. Continue to pray for the United States of America and everyone you know!

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK: “The Key to HAPPINESS is forgiving, forgetting, loving, helping, caring and smiling. Happy things need to be a habit. It should be Part of our routine and part of our schedule!”
HAVE A GREAT WEEK! LOVE YOU!
