The Chester County Budget Committee met Monday evening, Oct. 5., in their first meeting of the 2026-2027 fiscal year. County officials and department heads provided an introduction of themselves and explained the financial impact/considerations of their respective offices. Committee members include Ann Moore – Chairwoman (District 3), Dan Crump (Dist. 6), Kevin Faulkner (Dist. 1), Al McKinnon (Dist. 2), Barry Smith (Dist. 5) and Darryl Thompson (Dist. 4). Several non-committee member Commissioners attended as well taking advangate of an opportunity to learn more about the county they have been elected to serve.
