Pictured above is Vivian Sanders with Gov. Bill and First Lady Maria Lee celebrating her sixth consecutive time to be acknowledged by the Tennessee Kids’ Serve Summer Challenge.

Vivian Sanders is an 11-year-old sixth grader at Chester County Junior High School, a Chester County native and the daughter of Dustin and Charlotte Sanders. This is her sixth consecutive time to be acknowledged by First Lady Maria Lee’s Tennessee Kids’ Serve Summer Challenge.
According to https://www.tn.gov, “This summer, First Lady Maria Lee invited all Tennessee elementary students (grades: rising kindergarten - rising sixth) to participate in her statewide challenge. The challenge began on Saturday, June 1, 2024, and concluded on Thursday, August 1, 2024.” (www.tn.gov/firstlady/tennessee-serves/tennessee-kids-serve-summer-challenge.html).
The goal of the challenge was to instill in children a heart for service and ask them to join the First Lady in devoting a small portion of their summer break to serving others.
Sanders has been recognized by Maria Lee for the fourth time, and invited for the seventh time to the Tennessee Governor, Bill Lee’s mansion, for her services to the Tennessee Service Challenge on Saturday, September 7.
