Line Dancing now-Sept. 22
UT Extension hosts Line Dancing with Danielle McHaney and Anna Nelson from 5-6 p.m. Tuesdays at the Farmer’s Markey Pavilion from now until Sept. 22. This is open to all ages.

Circuit Training Workouts now-Oct. 30
UT Extension will hold Circuit Training Strength and Flexibility workouts at First Methodist at 2 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and 10:30 a.m. Fridays from now until Oct. 30. The workouts are a hybrid of Stay Strong and Chair Yoga.

CC Democratic Party Meeting Aug. 27
The Chester County Democratic Party August meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, in the second-floor classroom of City Hall, 121 Crook Ave.  All concerned Democrats and anyone interested in becoming a Democrat is invited to attend. Golf Tournament Aug. 29
Henderson Elks Lodge will hold a Golf Tournament for children’s charities at Chickasaw Golf Course Saturday, Aug. 29. Team Entry cost is $400. Sponsors and donations are needed. Exclusive Hole Sponsorship is $200, Hole Sponsorship is $100 and Tournament Sponsorship is $50. Swearing-In Sept. 2
Recently elected Chester County Officials will be sworn in at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at the Chester County Criminal Justice Center on Eric Bell Drive, in Henderson.

Trice Street Stew Sept. 12
The annual Trice Street Stew will be Saturday, Sept. 12, at 543 and 563 Trice St. If you would like to participate, please bring all meat donations on Friday, Sept. 11, and all vegetables before 8 a.m. Saturday morning. Stew should be ready to serve around 2 p.m. Bring your own containers and feel free to bring your own chair. Come and enjoy the fun, fellowship and games.

Henderson Station Chapter NSDAR invites you to the grave marking of American Patriot James Roberson Pvt. – North Carolina Milita Revolutionary War at Sweet Lips Cemetery, 4490 Sweet Lips Rd., Henderson, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19. FHU Associates Rummage Sale Sept. 23-26
The Freed-Hardeman University Associates will be holding their Fall/Winter Rummage Sale Sept. 23-26 at the National Guard Armory, 759 E. Main St., Henderson. Times are as follows: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, and Thursday, Sept. 24 (items full price); 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25 (items half price); and 7:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, Sept. 26 (bag day sale).

Youth Olympics Camp Oct. 12-16
UT Extension will hold a Youth Olympics Camp from 9 a.m.-noon Oct. 12-16 for grades kindergarten through sixth. Grades seventh through 12th can apply to be team leaders.
