Noah’s Ark Preschool is holding their annual Spring Flower Fundraiser. You can purchase a hanging basket for $15 or a potted plant for $21. The hanging basket choices are Passionate Pink Mix, Tri and True Mix, Celebration Mix and Sunset Mix. Potted plant choices are Rockin Red, Geranium, fruit Crush Dahlia, Kitchen Herb, Lantana Butterfly and Sunbeam Mix. All orders are due March 31. Please call 989-6880 to place your order.

Meeting April 4
The Chester County Historical Society will resume regular monthly meetings at 7 p.m. April 4 at the Senior Center. Mr. Holtin will share an impossible-sounding but true story that starts wi.th a 1951 recording of a young farm laborer in Missouri who died shortly after and ends with a pleasantly surprised family in West TN. Our May meeting will feature a newly discovered, unheard recording of Henderson’s own Waynell Jones. Come join us.
Enville Community Club Candidate Invitation April 5

Finger Volunteer Fire Dept.
Fish Fire April 9
The Finger Volunteer Fire Dept. Fish Fry and Barbeque Chicken dinner will be from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, April 9. There will be all you can eat, catfish or chicken with all the trimmings and homemade desserts Prices are $14 for adults and $6 for children. Takeout is $14. All proceeds will go towards the operating expenses of the Finger Fire Dept.
Early Voting April 13-28
Early Voting for the Republican Primary will take place April 13–28 in the Early Voting Annex at 126 Crook Avenue. The Early Voting Polls will be open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8 a.m.-4p.m.; Thursday 8 a.m.-7p.m.; and Saturday 8 a.m.-noon.

Meeting April 18
The next open meeting of the Chester County Republican Party (CCRP) is scheduled for Monday, April 18, beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m. in the Council chambers at City Hall on 121 Crook Avenue in Henderson. After the (brief) business meeting, many of our candidates for the Republican nominations for county positions, county commissioners, or the 26th Judicial District will speak to the attendees. With early voting for the Republican primary election beginning earlier on April 13, this will be the last chance for our attendees to hear our candidates. Meeting April 21
The Chester County Democratic Party quarterly meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21. The meeting will take place up stars in the classroom at the Henderson City Hall, 121 Crook Ave, Henderson. Members will discuss the party’s agenda, events for 2022 and coming up election. Hickory Corner Community Center Homecoming April 23
The Hickory Corner Community Center is hosting its annual homecoming beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, at its location on Hwy. 225. Available for purchase will be barbecue chicken plates with baked beans, potato salad and dessert. Hot dogs and soft drinks will also be available. Activities include an antique tractor show, musical entertainment at noon followed by an a silent auction at 12:30 p.m., a meet and greet with candidates seeking office in the upcoming election and a cake walk. The Freed-Hardeman Associates will be holding their Spring Rummage Sale, April 27-30 at the National Guard Armory, 759 E. Main St., Henderson. Times are as follows: from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, and Thursday, April 28 (all items full price); from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, April 29 (all items half price); and from 7:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 30 (bag day - fill a 13 gallon bag for $5 or 30 gallon bag for $10)
