A parade of pigs has been spotted in yards around Chester County, but they are not here for the barbecue festival. These little concrete “Oinks” are being shared, and reshared, to benefit the Chester County Imagination Library from now through Wednesday, Sept. 24. If you find them in your yard, “You’ve been Oinked!” but removal is simple. Call the Henderson | Chester County Chamber of Commerce at 989-5222 or email peyton@chestercountychamber.com to evict the porky plunderers for a $10 donation. Remove them and send to another house or business of your choice for only $15. A Pork Protection Insurance Plan will be provided with a $25 donation, which will block the pigs from returning to your property throughout the event.
All proceeds go directly to Chester County’s Imagination Library program, which helps provide free books to children from birth to five years old. Currently there are 704 children registered in Chester County with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library sending out more than three million books each month to children worldwide.
