Our girls represented with heart, hustle, and determination in the Dixie Softball World Series, and we couldn’t be more proud of their effort!
We kicked off the tournament strong with a dominant 13-3 win over Ruston, Louisiana, showing off our bats and solid defense to set the tone early.
Next up, we faced a tough challenge against last year’s champions, North Carolina. The team battled hard in a back-and-forth game, but a few costly errors ended up making the difference. Despite the fight, we came up short with a final score of 8-3.
In our final matchup, we went head-to-head with a strong Florida team. Unfortunately, we couldn’t quite get the bats going when we needed to, and our run came to an end with a 6-2 loss.
While the outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, the girls played with heart, grit, and class every step of the way. They left it all on the field, and that’s what truly matters. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them for the way they represented themselves, their families, and our community.
