Fall is definitely in the air! Crops are being gathered, and it will not be too long before we see the days getting much shorter of daylight hours. I love fall colors and the beauty we see around us but not looking forward to the cold of winter. Praying that all the kids, teachers and school staff had a great fall break and are ready to get back to business next week.
Membership dues are currently due and need to be paid by Oct. 15. Payments can be mailed to Ann Moore at 2715 State Rt. 225, Henderson, TN 38340. We need more community involvement for our center and would like to invite people to join in. Annual dues are $25. We appreciate all our members and would like to have more events if we can get enough help to do so. Call Ann or myself if you have any new ideas for the center or wish to get involved.
Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Devenda Frank on Oct. 13, Amber Murley on Oct. 14, Dusti Moore Moody on Oct. 18, Gary Cook on Oct. 19 and Cayce Marsh Farrow on Oct. 20. Montezuma also sends out happy anniversary wishes to Joel and Megan Cox on Oct. 19.
Please be in prayer for our all elected officials local and federal, law enforcement, first responders, healthcare workers, teachers and administrators as decisions are made and with all the upside down happenings in our world around us. Pray daily with all that is going on in our world. There is much spiritual warfare with society accepting things that go against who God is and what HIS laws are that we are to follow. Every day of life has its challenges, but if we look to God for the right path, it can be a good one. Please pray for Lisa Bishop, Bro. Iran Smith, Jenine Hogancamp, Lois Armour, Kathy Emerson, Jeanette Walker, Paul Schilling, Kolby Cumingham, Jennifer Paton, Nancy Crouse, Martha Cooper, Jake Richardson, Ann Morrison, Faye Crouse, Ed Morris and others that are sick or healing. We especially want to remember the families of David “Butch” Farley, Scott Stewart and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
