Hello from Enville! Goodbye, February, and hello March. I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather with temperatures in the 70s and lots of sunshine. It is so much better than all the rain we had in February. We were so afraid that we were going to have pull ours and my sister’s campers out, but the Lord stopped the rain and saved us. We are so thankful! Great things are happening in March. Daylight Savings Time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 13. We will spring forward and have more daylight in the evenings. Also, Spring begins on March 20. I am already seeing buttercups blooming, but we will see so much more new life in the Spring. Let’s not forget about St. Patrick’s Day, which is sandwiched in there, too.
Happy birthday wishes go to Eddie Walker, Jr. on March 5, Jim Wade, Hallie Keen and Emily Ervin on March 8, Robert Johnson on March 9 and Campbell Grisham on March 10. Happy anniversary to my hubby Danny and me on March 8 and Harold and Carolyn Wright on March 9. If you see these folks, give them a shout out, and we hope you all enjoy your special day!
Remember that this Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at the Enville Volunteer Fire Department will have a spaghetti supper and cakewalk fundraiser. The cakewalk should start at 6 p.m. Cake donations will be appreciated. Come on out, support them and have a good time of food and fellowship! If you need smoke detectors, please contact Fire Chief Thomas Gilham at 608-0696 to add your name.
The Enville Community Club invites all candidates to come speak at our meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. on April 5. They can tell us about themselves and why they should be elected on Aug. 4. There is a Republican primary to be held on May 3, 2022. All candidates running for office are invited. There will be a potluck meal.
