Let’s talk about learning!
In third grade they are reading a text about Jane Goodall. They are learning about the function of adverbs. They will also continue to learn about how to identify the main idea and supporting details of a passage! They will also review what they learned about writing book titles and quotations. In math they are using models to compare fractions with the same denominator as well as comparing fractions with the same numerator. Way to go!
In second grade they will be reading a book called, “Sir Gus.” In math they are going to be reviewing money and begin learning about shapes! During the knowledge portion of their day they will be learning about Ancient Asian Civilizations. They are also learning about Changemakers, important people in history who help bring about change! 
In first grade they are still reading Kate’s book and learning about her adventures out West! They will be learning about pronouns as well. In their knowledge portion of their day, they are finishing up their study on American Independence and will take a break before moving on to spend more time talking about the Revolutionary War and reading various books! In math they are finishing up comparing numbers and will be moving onto money! 
In kindergarten they are reviewing more third nine weeks’ skills. They will begin a unit on money and practice identifying coins. In science they will continue their learning of the farm, this week they will focus on crops. In writing they will begin learning how to write a narrative story! Way to go!
