Hello to all from this little corner of the world. The skies were blue, and the temperature was 56 degrees at the time of this writing. We have our first hummingbird and hope to have a few more. Our azaleas are blooming but need some help to recover.
Sunday was Easter as we all know. What a wonderful day it was. A joyous occasion to celebrate our Risen Savior. The days leading up to Sunday were very sad. It hurts me to think of the suffering He went through, but we who know Him and believe He is the Son of God are truly blessed and thankful He loved us enough to die for us. Just my thoughts, but I think it was in God’s plan all along. God knew the Only thing that could touch the human heart would be the sacrifice of His Perfect Son. We could never repay Him for what has been done for us! Jesus loves us and never leaves us. We had wonderful service, music and sermon. I felt the Lord in the service. You know…sometimes people do not feel His presence, and I think maybe their hearts are just not prepared. We had watched The Ten Commandments Saturday night, and then leading up to Sunday morning, everything seemed more emphasized. A little “heaven on earth” for a piece of time.
Condolences to all who have lost loved ones.
We enjoyed having Jeremy and his family up for an Easter meal. Braelyn’s boyfriend, Joey, was also able to join us. We had a nice time visiting with each other afterward, and Laiken enjoyed playing with various things. She asked me if I wanted to color. I responded, “Yes!” She got the coloring book and colors/markers for us to color together. She colored for a short while and then left me coloring while she was off to something else. Oh well, the life of a five-year-old. They are such a joy!

“I already won in life. I found Jesus. No matter what else happens, that’s the greatest victory I could ever have. In Him, I’ve found grace, redemption, and a love that never gives up on me. Everything else is just a bonus, but His love is everything.”
I pray you all have a wonderful week and may it be filled with love, joy, peace and blessings. Remember: if you have news, please email me at mimmiepots@gmail.com. I would truly appreciate any news. People from here and those who have moved from our area but still want to keep in touch through the newspaper are hungry for news from home.
Until next week, Happy Trails to You.
