Hello to all from this little corner of the world. The temperature on Sunday was 84 degrees. The sun was shining, and the sky was a gorgeous blue. It was absolutely a beautiful day! We are into fall now, and the next 10 days are supposed to be very nice according to the weather channel.
I am sure most of us are very thankful for the rain we had. Enjoy every day! Some days are harder than others, but there is always something to be thankful for.
We had a good crowd at Friendship Baptist Church Sunday. The sermon was on patience (Galatians 5:22-23). It teaches us self-restraint and to not quickly retaliate when done wrong. It gives us the ability to accept delay or disappointment graciously. We can remain steadfast under strain, and we know this, too, shall pass. We can have a calm assurance that God is in control. As humans, it is difficult to achieve and maintain patience. Things go wrong in life, and most of the time, it is unexpected, but if we will just take a deep breath and remember God is in control, the pressure relief is activated. It takes a lot of talking to God and praying to develop endurance and calmness. Be patient with yourself and others. Enjoy your week, and God bless.
Condolences to all who have lost loved ones. Prayers for all who are going through tough times with health, jobs, family or finances.
Remember that God is faithful in ALL things! He is always working. He hears every thought and every request. He loves YOU. Call on Him when you are at your lowest; keep your mind on Him and things WILL improve. I do this myself. I talk to Him often. He can help you become positive and happy. Life is very short; enjoy what you have and appreciate it. Give thanks. Be grateful. We are here now, but we may be gone in less than an hour. God bless you all!

“How can we respond to temptations? Take responsibility. We choose what we think or allow in our life. It’s the little things that aren’t so little - your name said like it matters, eye contact that makes you feel seen, a laugh that says, ‘I get you.’ A saved seat, a hand on your back, a message that simply says, ‘Thinking of you.’ The sound of rain, a hug that lingers, someone remembering your coffee order, that one song that hits just right. Even silence, when shared with someone who understands. These moments build the quiet architecture of love, comfort, belonging and being seen.” - unknown
