Local students offered Austin Peay State University Governor’s Excellence Scholarship and Dean’s Scholarship

Multiple local students were offered a Governor’s Excellence Scholarship at Austin Peay State University for Fall of the 2026-2027 academic year:
Ja’Liyah Bruce of Henderson
Aries Butler of Huron
Destiny Reeves of Lexington
To qualify for a Governor’s Excellence Scholarship, students must have a 3.0 - 3.49 GPA entering their freshman year. More than 230 incoming first-year students were offered the scholarship this semester.
Multiple local students were offered a Dean’s Scholarship at Austin Peay State University for Fall of the 2026-2027 academic year

To qualify for a Dean’s Scholarship, students must have a 3.85-3.99 GPA entering their freshman year. More than 260 incoming first-year students were offered the scholarship this semester.
These students’ hard work and commitment to academic excellence have paid off, and APSU is excited to recognize that hard work through awarding a scholarship.
