The Chester County Lions Club recognized two exceptional local students during their Monday, March 3, meeting. The Dr. Ronald Johnson Student of the Month is presented throughout the school year as a way to shine a spotlight on local students who are examples of excellence.
From Chester County Junior High School, LilyAnne Johnson was honored as Student of the Month for her outstanding academics and extracurricular activities. She is a sixth grader and the daughter of Will and Madeline Johnson. A member of the Beta club, her grades are important to her. She enjoys playing basketball, reading, singing country music and being at church. She hopes to attend Freed-Hardeman University to study medical courses so that she can become a veterinarian.
From Chester County High School, Caden Coats is a freshman who has been nominated by faculty and staff. Caden is an all-A student taking honor courses and is a member of the student council and National Beta Club. As an athlete, he is a member of the tennis and football teams. Caden is the son of Scott and Amanda and enjoys traveling, gaming with friends and watching sports. His future plans include attending UT Knoxville to study computer engineering.
