The Chester County Junior High boys basketball team earned a convincing home win on Thursday night, Dec. 11, defeating TCA 41–20.
Chester County took an early 9–6 lead after the first quarter, with Maddox Lewis scoring 4 points in the opening period to help set the tone. The Eagles used a strong second quarter to create separation as Jaeston Thomas scored 7 points in the second period, helping Chester County outscore TCA 15–2 and take a 24–8 lead into halftime.
The Eagles continued to pull away in the third quarter, stretching the lead to 36–14. Brett Wilson added 4 points in the period as Chester County maintained defensive pressure and control of the game.
Chester County closed out the win in the fourth quarter and will return to action on Monday, Dec. 15, when they face Decatur County in the first round of the Best of the West Tournament.
