TO THE RESPONDENT, JONATHAN THORNTON, PUTATIVE FATHER OF MINOR CHILD, JAYDEN HENLEY (DOB: 03/21/2010):
In this cause, it appearing from the Petition for Termination of Parental Rights and the Motion, Order, and Affidavit for Publication, that diligent search and inquiry has been made as to the whereabouts and address of the RESPONDENT, JONATHAN THORNTON.
JONATHAN THORNTON, you are hereby required to appear and answer the Petition for Termination of Parental Rights filed in the above-styled case within thirty (30) days of the last publication of this Notice and serve a copy of said Answer on the Clerk of the Juvenile Court for Haywood County, Tennessee, whose address is 100 S. Dupree St. – Brownsville, TN, and Lanis L. Karnes, Petitioner and Guardian Ad Litem for the minor child, at 2273 N. Highland Ave. – Suite A, Jackson, TN 38305, within the required time.
If you fail to do so, judgment by default will be taken against you on the 17th day of November, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the Haywood County Juvenile Court for the relief sought in the Petition.
It is further ordered that this Notice be published for four (4) consecutive weeks in the Chester County Independent newspaper.
