Greetings from Hickory Corner!
Today is Monday, Aug. 1, and it has been a nice pleasant day. I am missing the birds at my feeders as the squirrels have broken both of my bird feeders (from swinging). I will replace them with squirrel proof feeders if I can find some. The hummingbirds are fighting at their feeders. One will sit on top of the feeder and does not want to share and chases the others away. This has been going on for several days.
Congratulations to Hunter and Kaycie Hearn on the birth of their baby boy Sutton Jacob. Grandparents are Jason and Kim Hearn, Joe Moore and Debbie Roland Moore. Great-grandmothers are JoAnn Clayton and Debbie Hearn, and great-grandparents are Joe and Shirley Roland. Great-great-grandparent is Ravon Maness. Also welcoming Sutton are Uncle Zac and and Faith Jones and cousin Ryder Jones. Ryder is so happy to have a little cousin. I bet there will be a five generations picture taken with Sutton soon!
I had a surprise visit from my friend and State Farm Agent, Frank Bell, today. We sat and chatted and had a really nice visit. He just made my day. Thanks, Frank, for stopping by.
Happy birthday to Diane Kessler (8/8). Happy Anniversary to Joe and Nancy Holmes (8/6). Hope your special days are filled with many blessings.
