A Fentanyl Awareness Day will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, on the second floor of Henderson City Hall, 121 Crooke Ave.
This is a free overdose prevention training that will include information regarding Naloxone, Narcan-Kloxxado. Everyone is welcome to attend and refreshments will be provided.
The main speaker/trainer for the event will be Mark Mason.
Additional speakers include Chester County Sheriff Mark Griffin, Chester County Head Start Family Engagement Assistant Manager Gloria Holiday, Chester County Health Department Health Educator Danielle McHaney and a member from the 26th Judicial Drug Task Force.
This event is organized by the Jackson-Madison Prevention Coalition and SWHRA Head Start Program and funded under a grant contract with the state of Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
