Hello to everyone! First things first, let us thank the Lord for allowing us to see another week! For this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! I hope you had a great week. It is a blessing to be a part of your life one more time. I would like to say THANK YOU for taking time out of your day to read the Chester County Independent. I am so happy to be a part of this great earth; because the Lord let me know, He, the God, created the earth; He is also Lord over it and all creation, including the heavens. So let us enjoy life while we can!
School has officially started for Freed-Hardeman students. The City of Henderson would like to welcome all of you to the City of Henderson. Have a blessed school year.
On Saturday, while shopping at the Pig, I met one of the most respectful young adults. He was with his family from Los Vegas. He was with his parents and two little sisters. After talking with them for a while, I discovered that he is a new student at Freed. I was so glad to meet them. This young man even helped me with my bags. The City would like to say, “Welcome to Henderson!”
Thought for today: Oh, Lord God! You Yourself made the heavens and earth by Your great power and with Your outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for you!
Continue to pray for all bereaved families everywhere; pray for families, friends and loved ones you know. I pray everyone will have a safe and happy week. Have fun and be safe.
