Fourth Grade

Erica Gilmer is in her 14th year in the classroom but her first year here with the CCMS Family.
From fun classroom activities or signature teaching style to teaching the principal a new way to divide large numbers, Ms. Gilmer always finds a way to make learning exciting.
“I love teaching math,” she said, “because it was very difficult for me in school, so I enjoy creating opportunities for students to feel successful and confident in the classroom by showing them how to apply their knowledge in real-world situations!”

Mr. Helton has been teaching for 29 years. He is currently teaching eighth grade career readiness and is the boys basketball coach. In the classroom, Mr. Helton offers a safe learning environment for all students. He is known for making connections with students and them becoming lifelong friends. CCJHS is proud to have him!

Mr. Pearson, a dedicated educator in his first year with our Special Education department at Chester County High School, has made an immediate positive impact. He is highly effective at building relationships and focusing on the development of essential life skills for his students.
