We’re excited for another strong season from the CCJHS Eagles. “We only return a handful of varsity players from last season, but they’re in key spots,” said Head Coach Chad Hanna.
“Maddox Lewis finished the year at quarterback and brings experience and a great arm to the leadership role for us,” Hanna noted. “Jsean Austin returns as a wide receiver and running back after being one of our leading rushers last season.”
“Peyton Dickerson and Talon Clayton will both bring speed and depth to several different skill positions,” he continued. “On the line, Bryson Hemby and Sawyer Ferrell return as staples—guys we’ll be leaning on in the trenches.”
Hanna also highlighted new additions to the team. “We’ve gained a couple of key pieces through transfers, and we’re glad to welcome 8th graders Tristan Pereda and Trey Mann to the team. They’re already showing a lot of promise.”
The Eagles are ready to compete, grow and make this season one to remember.
