Hello from Enville! I hope you all are having a good week. It is hot outside, but the little pop-up showers are helping the crops, gardens and lawns.
I did not have a column last week. Danny and I were in the mountains that weekend and first part of the week; then, we came home and headed to our campsite for the holiday weekend. I hope everyone had great Fourth of July festivities, watching fireworks and spending it with family!
Time sure is passing fast. Before we know it, school will be starting, and the buses will be running once again. Shopping is probably underway for those school clothes and supplies. Remember to attend the Back to School Bash from 8-11 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at the Chester County Junior High School. There may be more, so check around to see!
Everyone enjoyed helping Harold and Frankie Finley celebrate their 60th anniversary at the Enville Methodist Church. There were many in attendance - some they see every day, and some they have not seen in a very long time. Harold and Frankie thanks everyone for their well wishes of many more years together!
Happy belated birthday wishes to Danny Williams on July 10, Brittany Finley and Kaye Ritter on July 12, Jarrett Bishop, Jr. on July 14, Charlie Cona on July 15 and Soren Rakes on July 16 and Happy birthday to David Wade on July 22. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
