Hello from Enville! I hope you all are having a great week. Last week, we had warm temperatures; this week, on Sunday night, we went to bed with severe weather warnings, and Monday, we got up to some snow. Our deck was almost covered. We could hardly believe our eyes. It is too close to spring for these cold and windy days. I want the warm weather back!
Danny and I spent our 46th wedding anniversary in the Smoky Mountains last week. It was a no jacket week every day with the exception of Thursday morning. We had some snow falling, but by afternoon, it was sunny and warm again. We drove up to the top of the mountain the next day. It was beautiful with all the snow. We ate some awesome food and drove through Cade’s Cove and the Roaring Forks Trail. We had a great relaxing week. We did not see any bears on this trip. It is a little too early, but maybe next time!
Happy birthday wishes go to Ford Frank on March 20 and happy anniversary to David and Lynda Milford on March 20. We hope you all enjoy your special day! I never let March 22 go by without thinking of our ole Jack O’Neal. I called him Jackaroo. This would have been his birthday. We miss you, Jack!
Our prayer list is Harold Maness, Robert Johnson, Tommy and Linda Wade, James Vinson, Harold and Carolyn Wright, Rick and Julie Ooley, Mary Lou Avent, Ann Pugh, Shirley Hampton, Della Mixon, Kaye Killingsworth, Nancy Philyaw, Mike Finley, my sister, Joan Massey, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military, schools and school board, our county and country, all who have lost loved ones and, as always, each other.
