Hello from Enville! I hope you all enjoyed the taste of Spring. It left us for a few days, but it is back. I hope it is back for a while. I am like y’all. I am over Winter and looking forward to Spring and all the bright colors that come with it! We have several birds coming to eat at our feeders, and we have been feeding them on our deck ledge; they like that, too. Looking forward to welcoming our hummingbirds, but that will be a while.
February is almost gone, and March has several good things happening!
Please note: The Enville VFD spaghetti dinner in March has been postponed. I will keep you posted on this! The Enville Community Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. on March 3 at the community center. We would love for you to join us to work for the betterment of our community and surrounding areas!
We have the Finleys and the Bishops back at the breakfast table. We are glad you are back.
February is Black History Month. TJ Kirk has had some good articles is the Chester County Independent, and there have been several programs to celebrate Black History Month.
Happy Birthday wishes go to Annie Massengill on Feb. 27, Tyler Ooley on March 28 and Robert Barnett on March 3. Happy Anniversary to Ted and Ann Hollin on Feb. 27 and Lynn and Sarah Canaday on March 2. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please pray for Harold Maness, Robert Johnson, Mary Lou Avent, Ann Pugh, Shirley Hampton, Della Mixon, Kaye Killingsworth, Nancy Philyaw, Tommy and Linda Wade, James Vinson, Harold and Carolyn Wright, Rick and Julie Ooley, Mike Lott, Mike Finley, Joan Massey (my sister), our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military, schools and school board, our county and country, all who have lost loved and, as always, each other.
If you have news or someone to add to the prayer list, call me at 608-3058, or to rent the community center, call Pat Cates at 688-5125 or 244-1993.
Have a blessed week everyone!
