Hello from Enville! Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope you all get everything your heart desires; being with your family, gathering around the Christmas tree and having good food to eat is the most important thing.
Please remember that the reason for the season is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, who came to Earth as a Savior to bring hope, love and salvation from sin for all people, fulfilling God’s promise and demonstrating His incredible love (John 3:16). Our gift giving symbolizes the gifts that were brought to baby Jesus by the Wise Men recognizing Him as a King. During all the hustle and bustle of our Christmas traditions, keep Jesus in all that we do.
If you are out looking for beautiful Christmas lights, there is an enormous Christmas display between Enville and Milledgeville on Highway 22A that you will not want to miss!
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Austin Spain on Dec. 29, Rae Harwell on Dec. 30, Frankie Finley and Megan Weeks on Dec. 31 and Mary Jo Hughes on Jan. 1. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please pray for Harold Maness, Robert Johnson, Mary Lee Guyon, Mary Lou Avent, Ann Pugh, Shirley Hampton, Della Mixon, Kaye Killingsworth, Nancy Philyaw, Tommy and Linda Wade, James Vinson, Jeff Finley, Glenn Butts, Rick Ooley, Mike Lott, Mike Finley, Mitchell Willis, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military, our county and country.
