Hello from Enville! I hope everyone is having a great week. Summer is letting us know that it is still here. On Sunday afternoon, my car was showing a temperature of 100 degrees and did not move for a while. We came home and got under the air conditioner until church time.
It is Enville Wildgoose Shindig time! It will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Enville Community Center. There will be a silent auction, cakewalk, barbecue pork, chicken and bologna, hamburgers and hotdogs, ice cream, a 50/50 drawing and entertainment. Lakelin Lemmings will be there, sharing her beautiful voice with us. She has signed with Nashville’s Stone Records. We are so happy to have her entertaining us with her talent. Be sure to come and join the fun.
Happy birthday to Christopher Timmer on Aug. 25, Maxine Grisham on Aug. 26, Theo Wade Weber on Aug. 27 and Charlotte Canaday on Aug. 28. Happy anniversary to Jeff and Lisa Finley on Aug. 26. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
