Hello from Enville! I hope you are all having a great week. The temperatures are creeping back up, but the humidity has not been as bad as it was a few weeks ago. I can not believe that August is half gone and that school has been in session for a full week. I hope everyone is adjusting well and getting to know all your teachers and making new friends.
Remember the Enville Wildgoose shindig is from 4-8 p.m. Aug. 23. at the community center. There will be barbecue pork, chicken and bologna, hamburgers and hotdogs and ice cream. A silent auction will be all evening with a cake walk at 6 p.m., and at 6:30 p.m., our entertainment, Lakelin Lemmings, will be performing her new songs. Lakelin has signed with Nashville’s Stone Records. She is awesome! A 50/50 drawing will take place at 8 p.m. Please come enjoy the evening.
Happy birthday wishes go to Christopher Canaday on Aug. 16 and Mike Mooney on Aug. 21. Happy anniversary to Don and Frances Willis on Aug. 17 and Mike and Marilyn Mooney on Aug. 21. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
