The Chester County High School girls soccer team turned in an impressive preseason performance Thursday evening, defeating Jackson Christian School 10-1 in a home scrimmage.
Seven different Eaglettes found the back of the net during the victory. Miley Cupples led the offensive attack with three goals, while Samantha Gonzalez added two.
Lydia Elliott, Claudia Bailey, Hannah M., Lucy Deweese, and Shelbie Cross each scored once to complete Chester County’s 10-goal performance.
The Eaglettes also received assists from Gabby Kammanee, Kendall Cherry, and Autumn Greene.
Chester County controlled the action throughout the scrimmage and consistently pressured the JCS defense, creating scoring opportunities for players across the lineup. The Eaglettes were also solid defensively, limiting JCS to a single goal.
The scrimmage allowed head coach Michael Bolton to evaluate his team in game action as the Eaglettes prepare for the start of the regular season.
Chester County will continue its preseason schedule Monday when the Eaglettes travel to University School of Jackson for another scrimmage.
