Eaglettes Pick Up 6-1 Win Over Jackson South Side

The Chester County Eaglettes picked up a 6-1 win over Jackson South Side on Monday night.
Chester County scored early in the first inning when Jillian Patterson drove in a run with a groundout. The Eaglettes added to their lead in the third inning, stringing together several hits to create separation. Addison Newland doubled, Reece Collins followed with a single, and Kymber Martin added an RBI on a groundout.
The Eaglettes finished with 12 hits on the night, led by Brentlee Burgess, who went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate. Collins added two hits, while Newland and Patterson each drove in two runs.
In the circle, Patterson turned in a strong performance, working six innings and allowing just one run on two hits while striking out six. Martin closed things out with a scoreless inning in relief.
Chester County was also solid defensively, turning a double play and committing no errors. Georganna Pickens led the way in the field.
The Eaglettes improve with the win and will look to carry that momentum into their next game.
