Eagles celebrate seniors with shutout win on Senior Night

Chester County honored its senior class in a big way Friday night, picking up a 4-0 win in front of the home crowd.
Before the match, the Eagles recognized their senior class: Jonathan Cupples, Linkin Phillips, Isaiah Stafford, Cooper Thompson, William Heinsohn, Braelin Robinson, Jonah Harrison, Jonah Smith and student manager Journey Szaabo.
Chester County took care of business once the match started.
Cooper Thompson got the scoring started with a goal assisted by Braden Walker to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead. William Heinsohn followed with a goal of his own to push the advantage to 2-0 heading into halftime.
Angel Ortega scored in the middle of the second half to make it 3-0, and Jonah Smith finished the night with a goal assisted by Cael Markum to make it 4-0.
Chester County kept the pressure on throughout the match, finishing with 42 total shots and 23 shots on goal.
Defensively, the Eagles were just as strong. Riley Meek played the majority of the match in goal and recorded a save while helping secure the shutout. Brody Hysmith saw time late as the Eagles closed things out.
