Good morning from Deanburg! I am back and happy to be with you again! Several weeks ago, I fell on the porch coming in with a load of groceries and suffered a fractured pelvis. Thanks for all the cards, visits and phone calls, but most of all, thanks for the prayers and the help of the Lord. I had wonderful care from my children and friends.
There have been many deaths of loved ones and friends recently. Love and prayers to all the bereaved.
Deanburg Baptist is having a revival this week. There was good attendance the other night. Mitzi, Eric and I attended. Preaching was by Bro. Clint Sanders of Lexington Second Baptist. The pastor is Bro. Eddie Larkins.
This will be a busy week. The FHU Associates Rummage Sale and the BBQ Festival are this week. Look for the Pleasant Springs Church tent. Our people will be there to talk to you, answer any questions or pray for you.
Please be in prayer for all that work out in this heat. I hope fall will soon be here. I have always heard that one extreme follows another. Remembering the winter storm and this summer, what will this winter be like?
