Good morning from Deanburg!
It sure is good to see the sunshine and warmer temperatures this week, but we all know that it will change soon. We usually have at least two more months of winter. I can remember snow in the spring. We shall be grateful for whatever the Lord sends us because He always provides.
There are so many who need prayer. Pray for those who have lost loved ones, those sick at home or in the hospital, JoLiene Harris, Kelly Concialdi, Heather Ross, Bill Loftis, Beth Hill, Judi and Tony Concialdi, Buddy Loflin, Orban and Carolyn Goff, Bill and Lisa Cox, Sandra Landers, Kathy Griffin, Cora Rose, Billy Tulley, Ann Lowrance, Kristin Ferguson, Ann and Jerry Lowe, David Gilchrist, Mary Dell and Joe Gilchrist, Colton Hayes, Monica Payne, Walker Cupples, Anastacia Chrisman, Jerry Greene and Patty Cupples. Remember all the first responders. We are so blessed to have them. Also, remember our county and city officials and, most of all, our military.
Pleasant Springs Church sang Happy Birthday to Mary Dell Gilchrist on Sunday. It was her 89th birthday. May you have many more, “Sweet Lady.”

The Chester County Family and Community Education Club will meet on Jan. 12 at 1 p.m. in the conference room at City Hall. We would like for more people to join us. Men are also welcome.
