Good morning from Deanburg! We received a little shower Monday morning. I am thankful. Just hope it is not interfering with the farmers’ gathering their crops.
The Chester County F.C.E. Club will have a bake sale at Farmers Supply at 9 a.m. Oct. 17. Come out, enjoy goodies and help us with our projects. We donate to several worthy causes.
A reminder – Pleasant Springs Church will have a chili cook off at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11. There will be cash prizes. There will also be desserts. Pleasant Springs will hold a yard sale beginning at 8 a.m. Oct. 25. This will be church wide, so you will find a variety of items. The children will sell lemonade and cookies for youth activities.
Deanburg sends out birthday wishes to great-grandson Malakai Bastin, one year old on Oct. 8; Judy Concialdi, Oct. 10; Aleigh Brown Knight, Oct. 10; and Elizabeth Hopper, Oct. 10.
