Good morning from Deanburg! I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend.
Deanburg Community Club met on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. to make additional plans for Haunted Hollow. This will be the 38th year. This is the only fundraiser we have to support the fire department and the other causes we donate to. We really appreciate the customers who return each year. Thanks goes most of all to the ones who volunteer their time to make it a success. The price continues to be $10, which is much less than anywhere else. We consider this to be more affordable for families.
Please continue to be in prayer for the sick and shut-ins, the bereaved and on the list for Deanburg – Angel Gardener; Jennifer Cole; Travis Middleton who returned to the hospital; Dixie Mays; Nancy Rush; Cora Rose; Dale Rose; Bob Tulley; David Hughes; Bill and Lisa Cox; Carolyn Goff; Mary Dell Gilchrist; Tony Concialdi; Brenda Collins; Dot Bratcher; Lisa Massengill; Ann Lowrance; JoLiene Harris; Stephanie and Darren Hatch; Sandra Landers; and Mark and Renee Landers.
Deanburg sends out belated birthday wishes to Jimmy Concialdi, Caleb Cupples and Joey Andrews, Sept. 3; Renee Landers, Beverly Collins, London Henley and Dakota Roberts, Sept. 6; Todd Clayton and Carol Mainers, Sept. 7; and Tyler Evans, Sept. 9.
