The Chester County Commission is scheduled to meet in regular session at 7 p.m., Monday, September 14, 2026, at the Chester County Courthouse with Mayor Barry Hutcherson presiding.
This will mark the first meeting of the Commission following August General Elections which reduced the body’s number to 12.
The Commission will begin their term with the election of Chairman and Chairmen Pro Tem.
Items on the agenda include approval of year-end reports, budget amendments, County Committees and County Boards (Library, Planning, Health and Education facilities). In addition to discussion of the sale of fire department vehicles, the Commission will approve notaries, recognize previous Commissioners and cover any other business.
