The city of Henderson will end loose-leaf pick-up for the summer (and resume in the fall) on Friday, April 25. All leaves and grass clippings collected after April 25 should be bagged and placed out with regular garbage for pick-up. There will be no need to call Henderson City Hall for bagged leaf pick-up as they will be removed on regular garbage day. Brush pick-up will continue as normal throughout the summer. Place the brush beside the street edge and call (731)-983-5000 for pick-up. The city will only haul brush cut by the homeowner and will not haul brush cut by any commercial tree trimmers. As a reminder, the city does not haul furniture, building materials, old carpets or alliances.
Due to the Good Friday holiday, the Henderson City Hall and the Henderson Utility Department Offices will be closed on Friday, April 18.
Garbage routes that are normally on Friday, April 18, will be picked up on Thursday, April 17. Have your garbage out by 7 a.m. to ensure collection because the trucks will be on their regular schedule. Recycling pick-up routes that are normally on Friday, March 29 will be picked up on Monday, April 21.
