The Chester County Rescue Squad, which recently released a “First Responder” program, that goes along with other programs such as, extrication, land search, etc., has obtained the IRS designation of 501c3 as a non-profit organization. Through the hard work of members, this designation will allow the squad to seek grants that were not available before. Larger donations from Chester County residents are now fully deductible from taxes. A rescue squad representative stated, “We would like to thank those residents for their past support and hope they continue to support us as we grow to be able to help the citizens of our great county.”
