The Chester County High School golf teams hit the links yesterday in a tri-match against Lexington and Hardin County.
On the girls’ side, Lexington claimed the top spot with a team score of 105, followed by Chester County with 113, and Hardin County at 117. Camryn Hardison led the Lady Eagles as the low scorer for the day.
In boys’ action, Lexington posted a 173 to edge out Chester County’s 178, with Hardin County close behind at 183. Easton Garner paced the Eagles, earning low-boy honors.
Head Coach Mike Goff was pleased with the team’s progress, noting, “It was a much more consistent round team-wise, yet their full potential has not been seen yet. I feel our averages across the board are four to five strokes higher than they should be. Overall, it was a great outing, and we played a lot better.”
Both teams will look to build on these performances as they continue their season.
