Chester County filled in the Eagles Football Head Coach position by hiring Dewond Johnson.
The Eagles are getting a coach with good experience under his belt.
Johnson’s coaching history includes being defensive coordinator for the Lexington Tigers since 2010. Of those 12 seasons, he coached Lexington’s defense to 11 playoffs and made it to the semifinals twice.
In response to what brings him to Chester Co., Johnson said, “I always thought Chester County was a highly competitive team, and I was just interested in it… I’m just anxious to see what we can do.”
While he talked to the Eagles football team for the first time, he told the players he was “all in.”
Johnson wants the Chester County community to know that the Eagles are going to be “an exciting brand of football.”
