Chester County Dixie Youth teams continue postseason success

The summer postseason has been filled with success for Chester County Dixie Youth as softball and baseball teams continue to compete at the highest levels across Tennessee and beyond.
The Chester County softball program had all five of its teams qualify for the Tennessee Dixie Youth State Tournament, with four teams capturing state championships and earning trips to the Dixie Youth World Series.
The 6U Sweetees hosted the Tennessee State Tournament and claimed the state title. They will travel to South Brunswick, North Carolina, for the Dixie Youth World Series beginning July 24.
The 8U Darlings finished as state runner-up after advancing to the championship game.
The 10U Angels won the Tennessee state championship and will compete in the Dixie Youth World Series in Belleview, Florida, beginning July 31.
The 12U Ponytails also captured a state championship and will travel to South Brunswick, North Carolina, for the World Series beginning July 24.
The 15U Belles completed an impressive postseason by winning the state championship and advancing to the Dixie Youth World Series in West Pasco, Florida, beginning July 24.
On the baseball side, Chester County has also enjoyed a successful summer.
The 6U Baseball team hosted the Tennessee State Tournament and advanced to the second round before being eliminated.
The 8U AA team captured the district championship before reaching the second round of the state tournament.
The 10U AAA team won the district championship in Selmer and opens play in the Tennessee State Tournament in Harriman on July 7.
The 12U Ozone team finished as district runner-up and begins state tournament play in Lebanon on July 7.
With multiple state championships already secured and four softball teams preparing to represent Tennessee on the national stage, Chester County Dixie Youth continues to showcase one of the area’s strongest youth baseball and softball programs.
