The Chester County Mayor and County Commission is scheduled to meet in regular session at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at the Chester County Courthouse.
Items on the agenda include:
• Election of Chairman of the County Commission
• Approval of Budget Amendments from Chester County School System, County General, Chester County Solid Waste Department, Chester County Fire Department, Chester County Library and Others
• Approve County Committees
• Appointment of Brandon Connor as Emergency Management Director
• Lease Agreement between Chester County and American Job Center of Tennessee
• Request for change of County Travel Policy
• Approve Notaries
A number of people are scheduled to speak to the Commission regarding funding on behalf of various programs and organizations. These are as follows: Savannah Gilbert – Chester County Library; Kathy Vest – Chester County Election Commission; Al Price – Chester County Historical Society; Algene Steele – Henderson Arts Commission (The Depot); and Sylvia Flowers – Tender Loving Care Childcare Center.
Other business to be discussed includes an update on the Medical Building and bids for the Health Department.
