Dean Estes made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. That’s the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter’s box, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3. What’s more, he posted two RBI, the most he has had since back in April of 2024. In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caleb Cole, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Braylin Robinson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Chester County lost a heart-breaker the last time they played Riverside, but it’s fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday’s match-up. Chester County’s pitchers stepped up to hand Riverside an 11-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Eagles have won four games by more than eight runs this season, Friday’s blowout was nothing new. Rushil Patel looked comfortable as he didn’t allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. At the plate, Jayce Goff was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Brooks Johnson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Chester County lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That’s the most home runs they have managed all season.
