After racing in the Region 7 A-AA Tournament at Martin Westview on Tuesday October 24, the Chester County Cross Country team had some qualify to compete in the state championship.
CCHS runner Bella Lamb placed seventh of 95 runners advancing her to the state competition. Bella was followed by Eden Burleson, Camryn Connor, Lilly Allen, Abby Sells and Valerie Butterfield placing sixth in the region as a team.
The boy’s team was led by Silas McManus, followed by Dillon Williams, Garrett Robison, Brooks Johnson, Frankie Rich, Cooper Thompson and Josh Roberts placed second advancing them to the state competition. Bella and the boys team will be competing at the State Cross Country Championship on Friday, November 3. Read their results in next week’s issue.
