On Wednesday afternoon, August 24, 2022, Chester County Jail inmates David Billings and Aurelius Crayton escaped from an outside recreation area at the Chester County Jail. Billings stole a vehicle and led deputies on a pursuit before being recaptured approximately three hours later. Crayton, described as a black male 6’3” and 195 pounds, remains at large and should be considered armed and dangerous. A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of Aurelius Crayton.
