Junior High Football Coach Chad Hanna still can say he is proud of his team last week even though they lost in the jamboree, because the team was successful in their first game against Bolivar. The junior varsity won 24- 0 and the varsity won 34-6.
Jaleo Smith (#1) was a stats leader with 3 carries for 137 yards and 2 touchdowns plus a 60-yard punt return for a touchdown.
Chad Barham (#2) was also a leader as he had 4 carries for 140 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Smith also tied with Hunt Pipkin (#5) in defensive stats with each of them having 8 tackles.
“Great team win all around,” Hanna said. “Very proud of this group.”
