Ladies from Henderson and surrounding counties came together at a luncheon to raise money for the Chester County Imagination Library.
I had a wonderful time at my 50th Class Reunion Saturday. Most of the class came. It was so good to see everyone and to catch up. Joyce Gardner Mount always gets it together for us and she works so hard to make sure it is perfect!

The Hickory Corner Community Center will celebrate their homecoming at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 16. On the menu are barbeque plates, barbeque sandwiches, chips, hotdogs, drinks and dessert.
Saturday afternoon there was a natural gas explosion on Joy Lane. Someone was weed-eating near the line. Jacks Creek Fire Department responded. Also, Monday afternoon responders arrived on Roby Road to a shop on fire.

Lequita Wylie killed a 23 pound gobbler with an 11 inch beard, 1 3/8 inch spur; her first this year, after a Grand Slam first ever last year. To say she was excited, "goggle, gobble."
