The long-familiar aroma of their fantastic hamburgers floated through Bell’s Drive In last weekend. The widely popular burger joint was busy as usual, with most tables full of patrons enjoying much of the same menu items they and their grandparents grew up tasting for the last six decades.
More than three inches of rain fell in less than an hour on Wednesday, July 23. The torrential rainstorm caused widespread flooding throughout Henderson and even contributed to the failure of the Henderson power substation.
Chester County must be the crossroads of America. It seems each year at this time a group or an individual comes through Henderson on a sabatical type journey, sometimes traveling in out-of-the-ordinary vehicles.

Our students, children and youngsters are for the most part our most valuable and important resource. Here in Henderson, especially, our children are put first and foremost, and we revere and look up to the educators of this town. This is the opinion of the majority of parents with school age children in Chester County.
When it comes to meals for the whole family, it’s often difficult to find something that’s quick, easy and makes everyone happy. Taco night has always been one of my favorite meals that meets all of those requirements, and there are so many ways to customize tacos that it’s hard to make it unappealing.
