Less than 30 seconds into the 2016 high school football season, Chester County had a 7-0 lead. The Eagles had scored on a 57-yard run on the first play from scrimmage. The players were pumped, the fans thrilled, and all seemed on the upswing for CCHS. However, Adamsville, one of the area's top teams for several years had other ideas. Before the first quarter was over the Cardinals had gained the lead 14-7, and bruised their way to a 35-7 victory.
Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a good week. I know one lady that did just that, with a big celebration on Friday, Ms. Mae Goodwin celebrated her 93rd birthday on Aug. 19, so her daughter, Paulette and son-in-law Todd planned a party for her at her home with family and friends.
