Deputies with the Chester County Sheriff's Office searched the Forked Deer River near a bridge on Garland Road Monday in search of property believed disposed of in the river following a burglary at a Chester County residence last week.
A slow-starting Chester County Dixie Belles softball team keeps getting better each game in the district tournament taking place in Henderson. Monday, the girls, ages 13-15, overcame yet another early deficit to overpower Madison Central 15-9 at the Dixie Youth Park.
