James Chris Sanders, 47, Selmer, was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He in held in the Chester County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Debra Dawnell Morris, 43, Selmer, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a canceled/revoked or suspended license, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, simple possession/casual exchange – misdemeanor and driving while in possession of methamphetamine. She is held in the Chester County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Amber Parker, 34, Lumberton, Miss., was arrested and charged with public intoxication. She was released from the Chester County Jail on probation.

Jeremy Dalton Kilburn, 28, Henderson, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, false imprisonment and possession of a schedule VI controlled substance. He is held in the Chester County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

Johnathan Bouchard, 24, Luray, was arrested and charged with contempt of court, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and criminal impersonation. He was released from the Chester County Jail after posting a $2,000 bond.

Cody Tyler McIntyre, 28, Medon, was arrested and charged with contempt of court (two counts) and violation of Community Corrections – Misdemeanor. He is held in the Chester County Jail to serve 30 days and then be released on probation.

A Chester County resident reported the back glass of a 2011 Dodge Ram had been broken out.

Valerie Hope Chambers, 18, Bethel Springs, was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule VI controlled substance. She was released from the Chester County Jail after posting a $1,000 bond.

James Pope Lanier, 46, 955 Peddy Vestal Loop, was arrested and charged with fourth offense DUI, violation of implied consent, and third offense driving on a canceled/revoked or suspended license. According to the report, Lanier was driving his lawn mower to town when he was pulled over and subsequently arrested. Deputies observed signs which led them to believe he was intoxicated, and so performed field sobriety tests, the majority of which he did not pass. He is held in the Chester County in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

James Pope Lanier, II, 46, 955 Peddy Vestal Loop, appeared in Chester County Circuit Court on three counts. Count one, Lanier pled guilty to two counts class A Misdemeanor unlawful possession of a firearm. He was sentenced for each count to 11 months and 29 days in the Chester County Jail, receiving credit for time served pretrial, with 60 days service prior to release on probation or Community Corrections, and a minimum of 75 percent prior to eligibility for work release, furlough, trusty status and rehabilitative programs, all suspended and supervised by Community Corrections, and ordered to pay court costs plus $500 in fines. He is to serve 60 days, day for day, in the Chester County Jail, and must submit to random monthly drug and alcohol screens, maintain full-time employment or be a full time student, weapon forfeited to the Chester County Sheriff’s Department. Lanier pled guilty to count three, class C Misdemeanor public intoxication, and was sentenced to 30 days in the Chester County Jail, and ordered to pay court costs plus $10 in fines. All counts are concurrent.

August 16, 2019

Colton Carnett, 21, Pinson, was found to be in violation of probation. His probation was revoked and reinstated, sentence of six years to begin anew.

Zachary Cole, 26, Jackson, was found to be in violation of probation. His probation was revoked and he is to serve the original sentence of nine years TDOC imposed, receiving credit on referenced cases only for time served by incarceration and/or Community Corrections.
